Acronym of the day - CCer

It's an ambiguous acronym.

For most people, it probably means a person in community college.

For us, it's College Confidential-er.

Have you ever caught your breath using the term?

The CC stereotype!

Ha... I would never admit being a CCer to my friends =P
They would mock me mercilessly and tell me that I'm "college-obsessed."
...which I'm not!

CC not only stand for College Confidential but also Columbia College

now its my sub-acronym of the day

So.Au> So Authentic

When ever I read that, I pronounce "au" like the French "au." It sounds like "so-oh." Or, just "soooo." Haha. It doesn't really work =)

I mention that I'm a CCer to everyone. It gets pretty annoying to them, I'm sure. I dunno, I just associate with CC more than I do with any other place.

I just say that I am affiliated with CC. I am not a CCer. What is a CCer by the way?

one who is registered with CC or one who is a moderator?

Les0s the Au does sound kind of french. Authentic is one of my favorite word. It reminds me of genuine Fashion. I should be a haut catoure model one day :D

And yet, you wanted to leave us... hmmm... =D

I know, it's kind of like a one time process though. Like alumni associate themselves with their alma maters - even though they have to leave their alma maters

its haute couture people.

i thought it was hot couter
(I'M KIDDING!!!)

I don't tell people I'm from CollegeConfidential. Unless they're also from CollegeConfidential.

Most people seem to perceive it as this forum full of super-neurotic perfectionists. Which it probably is. :D

I don't tell people I post here unless I know they do too, but I'm very easy to identify because I use the same screenname for everything, which is a bit uncomfortable.

ok so i forgot the "E" big whoop LOL

I don't think I use fizix anywhere else...

Now that I'm in college, I'm much more self-conscious about having an identifiable screenname. When I was just some kid from a tiny high school that nobody had ever heard of and the only person from my school who occasionally ventured onto this site (he doesn't anymore) was a good friend of mine, it didn't seem that incriminating.

^yeah, I kind of feel the same. I didn't care before if people knew who I was, but I don't really want the people in college to know how college obsessed I was.
