Hello there im planning to apply cornell university this nov with early decision. I know that the average act score is 30-34, but i think i have distinct advantage compare to other students. My GPA is 3.85/4 , and got 26E 35M 25R 32S ( if cornell does superscore , my E becomes 29 and science 35) 800 on math level2 770 on physics . 5on Cal BC and 5 , 4 on AP Physics C M , E&M respectively. In 11th grade, i took Multivariable Calculus and 12th grade , im taking linear algebra, differential equations , AP Stat, and Real Analysis. For the Science,11th grade i took Ap Physics C M and EM , Biology Honors. now im taking AP Chem , Analytical Mechanics .
Im school president now , and leader of STEM club , soccer club, and Band. Got 1st place in national band festival.

You may be a superstar at your high school, but those classes are not uncommon for a lot of Cornell engineers. My daugher is a freshman there now, and she feels little behind in math because she “only” took BC Calc and multivarialble calc before starting Cornell.
