Okay, I got a 2130 on the SATs averaging around 700 for each section.

Then I took the ACT, and got 35 (English), 31 (Math), 28 (Reading), and 32 (Science).

Should I send my ACT scores to my colleges? I got them yesterday through the mail. I'm happy with my composite score (and extremely happy with my science score), but brooding about the 28 on the reading.

An ACT 32 is equal to a 1420 (m+cr) SAT or 2130.

I wouldn’t worry about the 28 in reading, because your composite is in the 99th percentile.

However, since your ACT is essentially equal to your SAT, it may be not be needed unless an ACT 32 is specified for some scholarship or something.

What was your Math + CR SAT? If it’s less than 1420, then your ACT is better.

I would send both–the SAT to show that you have good reading comprehension, and the ACT score to get out of having to take extra SAT subject tests. =P

I have a 1430 on the SAT, and it said that my reading for ACT was in the 85 percentile versus the 95 percentile on the critical reading for SAT.

I took the ACT because I needed a score for science and wanted to try the SAT I again, and there was only one test date left. Seems like there isn’t a point in sending the scores since I already have 2 SAT Subject Tests.
