I stumbled through a few posts about students receiving letters from ACT stating possible cheating during exam. Mostly is about 2nd time taking the test and had significant improvement. Ok, so I am getting paranoid, I mean does this happen often? I have never heard ANY of my friends mentioned it. How do you guard yourself during the test? Cover up the answer sheet??!!

Well I think unless you do something conspicuously abberational, you will be fine

It’s just that these all said their scores jump significantly the 2nd time they take the test, like from 22 to 30. I thought that’s no ground for accusing anyone of cheating. But then again, the posters probably didn’t mention the whole truth of what happened.

Yea I saw those posts too and I also think that the posters didn’t write a truth or do not know the truth because their kids lied.
If you think about it, the ACT doesn’t have an incentive to be careless;instead, the ACT has a huge incentive to be careful. And those posters(or their students)have a huge incentive to lie because ,by doing so, they get people’s support.
