ACT and COLLEGE SELECTION

what schools have the requirement that if you take the ACT you dont have to take the SAT OR SAT2'S?????

Duke University had it for my application process. Check and see if they are retaining that policy for Class of 2010.

buummppppp

Most less-selective Midwestern schools maybe (Ohio State, etc.) I'm not really sure, but you can always call schools you're interested in or visit their website for more info.

Brown, Pomona

I didnt do so hot on my SAT-IIs so i specifically chose schools where i only had to send my ACT.
It worked out pretty well, the only school i had to submit SAT-II scores to was UCSC (the UCs require SAT-II)
The other schools i applied to that would otherwise have requird IIs are Amherst, Northwestern, Chicago.
SAT-IIs were "strongly recommended" for people submitting the SAT-I at reed and oberlin.. i only sent my ACT there too, and didnt have any trouble being admitted.

My S used the ACT for most schools. The only one that required SATII was Rice.
