ACT and SAT scores?

My daughter took act first time and thinking of taking sat. Some college wants you to summit all the test scores .She is getting good score on ACT practice test than SAT practice test.My question is should she take ACT again or try SAT.If she does not get a score on SAT and if we need to summit both ACT and SAT scores does SAT score will effect her application?
My second question does anybody applied for SSP program?Do you need to summit all the scores of SAT and ACT ?Or you need to summit just one good score?
Thanks!

Any suggestion?

Your question was confusing. What score did she get on the actual tests (not practice), and what grad is she currently in ? The one she scores the highest and feels most comfortable in is the one she should focus on.
I’m not familiar with the SPP program so I can’t answer that question.

There are only a small number of colleges that actually require you to submit “all test scores.” See discussion of issue here http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1912440-must-you-submit-all-sat-act-or-sat-subject-test-scores-p1.html. And there are only two left that require you to submit both all SATs and all ACTs, Stanford and Georgetown The other all scores colleges give you the choice to either submit all SATs or instead ACTs .In essence, unless your daughter is applying to Stanford or Georgetown, you do not need to submit both.

In any event, colleges uniformily claim that when you submit both SAT and ACT, they will use to determine admission the test they consider to be the higher, and thus you do not have any real downside to submitting both SAT and ACT.

Based on the information provided, I cannot provide any opinion about whether your daughter should take the SAT or instead the ACT again, or even whether she needs to take another test. However, in deciding the issue she should not be concerned about submitting multiple test scores to a college.

@Dizzywillow What SSP program are you asking about? This one: http://www.ssp.org ? If so, is your student a junior or a senior this year? That SSP is a summer program for juniors to apply to.

If your student is a junior and wants to apply to that SSP, the answer is that all scores are not required. You can list the best ones. And, you can list things like PSAT or AP scores on your application. I would submit more than one type of score to be competitive for SSP.

Thanks everyone for suggestions.
@Ynotgo yes this is the one i was asking about.
@drusba thanks for giving information that they consider only high score. She is not applying in Stanford or Georgetown.
