<p>I'm planning on prepping for the SAT and the ACT over the summer, are there any specific areas where studying for both exams overlaps?</p>
<p>In my experience, they overlapped a lot. Everything except for science is the same with slight variations. I studied for the SAT but not for the ACT and I did almost as well on the ACT.
Vocab, passage questions, grammar rules, math, etc are almost the same.</p>

<p>I’d recommend figuring out which test is a better match for your natural abilities and prepare for that test only.</p>
<p>There are enough differences between the two tests that it makes sense to focus on just one. It’s a better use of your time, in my opinion.</p>
