I am planning to take the SAT subject tests in June, along with the ACT(w/Writing). When I apply to college do I just need to send the ACT or do I also need subject test as well.
I am planning to take both Bio subject tests and the writing subject test.

Go here for a list of colleges that require, recommend or consider subject tests: [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group)
In the “required” column you will see for some colleges an * next to the number. That means the college takes the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT subject tests. If there is no * that means the college requires subject tests even if you submit ACT. Colleges that “recommend” subject tests (the second column) generally recommend them regardless of whether you submit SAT or ACT.

Also be aware that there is no “writing” subject test. They did away with that one several years ago when they added the writing section to the SAT.
