Hi CC, so I know Duke only requires sat subject tests for the sat, would it be bad, or not necessary to send my sat subject test results and the act- presuming I do well, as the scores have not come out yet. I have a 760 world history and 720 literature. Not great, but are they too bad to send? Also, does anyone know if you can send only a selection of your tests? I didn't do so hot on the Math 2...
Thanks!!

Yes you can select which ones to send. Send your ACT if you did well and then if you like your SAT subject scores (above 700 can’t really hurt, MIT stresses to send everything in the high 600s and above). So I guess send your 720 and 760, they may help a bit to solidify your application, but they won’t make a huge difference.

Do you think that it is worth it to sign up for the fall test date to try and improve my SAT2s…or at least the Math 2? Or do you think that if I were to stick with the SAT and improve it 2200+, that i would need better SAT2s…

Whats your ACT/SAT at right now?

my SAT is a 2150 and i have not gotten my ACT scores back yet, but based on practice, i hope i do well.

I’d definitely try and get the SAT I up then. You’re in the middle 50%, but if you could get into that 2200+ range you’d be stronger. Granted, mid 2100s is still strong, but if you could improve you’d be doing yourself a favor

Yeah I figured that. Darn sat math, I’m stuck at 690. But I’m taking it in the fall so hopefully I a 2200+. Would a 33 act suffice?

That’s what I got in with
