ACT and SAT treated equally?

I was just wondering if i should spend money and time studying for ACT?

Well I got a 28 on the ACT (studied for it) and a 2000 on the SAT (didn't study for it)..so in my opinion the SAT is much easier. The essay is easier to write as well.

Just focus on one.

many fo the schools i was looking at require ACT OR SAT AND Subject tests...I think I'll just use my ACT score. I studied for ACT and did pretty well, but didn't study for the SAT and am taking it again. Its really personal preference. Also, my ACT scores were more in the range of my prospective schools than my SAT. Take a practice CAT. DONT spend money. You can study efficiently on your own.

I was wondering if a person took both the ACT and SAT; do the UCs ask for both scores or just one of them. I plan on taking the ACT and I believe I will do much better on it so I would only like to put the better score on my application.
