Okay so i took the sat and got a 1560 which was terrible so i am now studying for the act. i signed up to take my sat2s for this june. When i looked on this website almost everyone said that only submit your act scores. Like im interested in going to a cuny lr suny. But i do not want to submit all my sat scores too. It would bring my application down? Im not sure what i should do because the test is coming up real soon

I can’t understand what you’re saying, but you can just send ACT scores + SAT 2’s unless the school specifically says “Send ALL scores from both the SAT and ACT”. The only school I know that does that is Yale.

Yeah that was my question. I did not want to take the test if i had to send in all my scores in. Any other school that does that?

There might be some, I just don’t know of any others off the top of my head. Some schools also allow just an ACT as a substitute for both the SAT + SAT2.

FALSE.

This is directly from the Yale website: [Standardized Testing for Freshman Applicants | Yale College Admissions](http://admissions.yale.edu/standardized-testing)

The Yale website quote totally verifies the quote you just tried to say is false. …?

^what are you trying to say?

@Reedite: Notice the “and” in the first quote and the “or” in the second.

Thanks for pointing that out, this must be a new change. Now I don’t know any schools that want both SAT and ACT.

Blahblah9393: No prob I know of one… Stanford still requires both sets be submitted.

^how do they tell if you took SAT?

Probably via the honor system .

^I see you are from AP Hell, how is it down there since you can’t concentrate? (Sorry, I can’t resist asking this)

Hahaha, it’s absolutely horrible :p

Haha thanks guys
