ACT April 4 ---- main discussion

Ok guys post questions from the test here once you are done taking the test. Thank you.

lol,alright. Good luck everyone.

Omfg... Reading kicked my butt. Science was easier. I thought I was doing good on the math till the last 10 questions or so ffs....

I thought English and Math were easier than February, while the difficulty of Reading and Science remained the same.

i completely agree

I did not appreciate the last part of math.

i thought math was harder than feb...i got a 31 in feb prolly a 28 on this one -.-...

liek the last question...the cube inside the spehere....i said 2 sqrt 3.....since it shows up a lot but i had no effing clue..i might have been able to figure it out if i had time but i had like 20 secs left..

I think the answer for that one was 4sqrt2

The edges of the cube was 4. So the base forms a square. The base of the square has a diagonal (45 45 90 triangle) which is also the radius.

I thought the last two science sections were hard

i put A for the last answer of math, i dont remember what the choice was though

yeah i put a too....it was 2 sq rt 3

yeah i thought that one about the degrees was kinda hard but i finally looked at the passage and it said anythig under 30 degrees on the fighting scientists was one was correct....so it only left the 45 degrees one which was the right answer to pick

Did anybody else think they scored near-perfect on Reading? I seriously uncertain on only one question...

yeah I was able to see that one quickly, but what was the one that had the 3 choices in roman numerals and asked how the electricity flowed through the tube. I didn't see where in the passage it said that.

i thought i did horrible on the reading!@#!@ i ran out of time...only 4 mins for the last passage....

IDK11, i felt the exact same way. I felt like every answer was directly in the passage

yeah 45 was right
idk11 what did you think was the question you were uncertain about?

Wasnt that science one convection?

I don't know, but you can miss up to two questions in reading and still get a 36. At least that's what all of the scales in my prep guide led me on to believe.

it was radiation and convection
radiation is the release of waves/heat
convection is the same
roman numerals I and II

last question of math i messed up too. its 2root3. they wanted the radius so
root ( 4^2 + 4^2 + 4^2) divided by 2.

i thot the science was was convection and radiation since it was an insulator thus conduction shouldn't work.

do u guys remember if u put compellingly or emphatically for the speech in the english.
