I submitted everything to Ohio state before the early action deadline. But I took the ACT with writing on October 24 and should be receiving the writing score sometime soon. My application status still says incomplete because of this. Will this impact? Should I email them?
We are in the same boat but for a different school. Best thing to do is contact admissions to discuss and see what they say.
Good luck, @netter11 I just emailed them apologetically :-S
I got this from OSU when I sent them a message regarding my concern.
“ACT & SAT Score Delay
We are aware that scores for the September 12, 2015 ACT may be delayed, and your scores may not arrive by our November 1 deadline.
We are also aware that the College Board has contacted a small number of students indicating that the October 3, 2015 SAT scores may be delayed. While there has not been a formal announcement from College Board, we have been contacted directly by several students who are concerned with meeting the November 1 deadline.
Please be assured that scores from these two test dates that arrive after November 1 will be considered “on time” if the delay was due to this issue. Please do not send unofficial score sheets or pictures of your score sheets. We will not be able to accept these documents and will instead need to wait to receive the official scores directly from the testing agency.
Please take the appropriate steps to submit all other application requirements by the deadline.”
I took the October 24, though.
UPDATE: they told me they won’t consider me for any merit scholarships anymore, and since those are guaranteed I would have gotten $15,000… I’m so upset. just a PSA.
@bassclarinet98 - Are you in state student ? Can you apply for the Buckeye scholarship.
