Act books

Can you guys tell me whether the following books contain tests that will give me a good indication of where i stand as far as my capabilities on the real ACT?

McGraw Hill 2010 ACT

Princeton Review 2009 ACT

Princeton Review 2008 ACT

Any feedback on past experiences or what you've heard would be awesome....detail on the lesson portion of the books would be great but i really want to know specifically about the effectiveness of the tests in these books. Thanks a lot!

Just use PR 2009. 10 char

If you want/need more practice use PR 1296.

Ok, let me be the first to say that an old PR book isn’t worth a centennial.

New PR (2009), would be reasonably diagnostic.

McGraw Hill = Crap

It just doesn’t have realistic practice tests (too easy)

“The Real ACT Prep Guide.” The ACT makes it and it contains 3 released ACT tests. Can’t say there’s any better measure of “capabilities on the real ACT” than that.

^ Outside of the books the OP mentioned, the real ACT prep guide is indeed the most diagnostic. PR has a much better review section, though.
