<p>Took the ACT w/ writing for the first time a few weeks ago
I got a 32 (I think the writing part hasn't come out yet)</p>

<p>I'm not sure how the scoring works
Is 32 a good score? How is my writing score going to contribute to my overall score?
Can it drag it down?</p>

<p>Yes, 32 is definitely a very good score! Assuming you mean 32 composite, it’s 99% (that is, better than or equal to 99 percent of students who took the test)! Congrats!
And no, the writing score has absolutely no effect on your Composite score.</p>
