HI,
I have read the official redbook and it does not say how rounding and total composite score plays out. For example, if i were to get a 36 math, 36 science, and 35 english and 35 reading.

36+36+35+35 divided all by 4 is 35.5 My question is does that round up? If so, that seems to be of tremendous help in scoring high on ACT.

OH MY GOD. THANK YOU!!!
35-35-34-34 here i come.

lol
i got 32-35-34-36
1 question away from round up!

:D lol a big shame. What did u get 32 on?

English = /
i hateee english. But i got an 11 essay lol

nice!! im going for an 11 on essay too.

not sure if this is relevant, but one time my friend improved his subscore total by 3 but his composite didn’t go up. kinda sucks.

is that possible?
should theoretically go up.

yes its possible. he had a 30.5, which rounds up to a 31, and then he got a 31.25 (.75 higher, which is 3 subscore points). Both composites come out to 31.

jeez. that really sucks.

How hard would it be to go from a 10 to 12 essay?

not too hard i guess. its 5-6. Kind of depends on grader. Little things like writing neater may help… lol.
