ACT composite question - what if I hadn't gotten sick?

I took the ACT for the first time in June and finally just received my scores. I got a 33 in English, a 31 in Reading and a 24 in math.

I got extremely sick at the beginning of the Science section, so sick I had to leave and could only complete maybe 4 - 6 questions on the Science section. So I got a score of 6 on that section.

Sooo, my composite was 24. Ouch. These scores did not go anywhere, not my highschool, not colleges...so they will never see the light of day.

If I retake in October, and assuming I score about the same in the English, Reading and Math...assuming I get a reasonable score in Science...say a 25...

What might my composite end up being?

I am wondering if it is worth retaking.

@ 28

You add the subscores together and divide by 4.

Yes you should retake.

Is expecting a 25 in science reasonable? It is the hardest for most people. And math scores and science scores tend to correspond.

But yes you should definitely retake it. Good luck with your test though.

Gosh, I don't know if a 25 is reasonable for me. Thanks for offering your sarcasm, though!

I was pretty sick for the whole test, it just sort of came to a head at that point. So, who knows what I am capable of.
