I took the ACT in April and got:
29-composite score,
28-English,
30-Math,
30-Reading,
28-Science
6-essay
with a 24 combined English/writing score.

In September I received:
29-composite,
30-English,
25-Math (out of nowhere),
34-Reading,
27-Science
8 essay
with a 28 combined English/Writing score.

Because I know the UC's use the essay score and the combined score, I'm not sure which score to report on the app. or send in. The math is REALLY low in September but I'm looking to go into psychology so maybe that wouldn't matter as much if reading and such make up for it (???).
Thanks for your help.

I have the same situation. All subjects but math went higher (math dropped). I was told to send all scores but college apps are rather expensive so I’m not sure whether to send both or not.

It’s really a pain. I probably will submit all scores just to be safe, but I’m still worried they’ll use my low math against me and I don’t know which to put on the application. Grr.

Send in both; it won’t hurt. They’ll probably look at your highest scores anyway. Else, if you really just want to send in one score, send the April one; all scores are relatively similar and there are no huge discrepancy (September shows huge weaknesses in math and science). Good luck! :)
