ACT composite w/o writing for w/ college?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I got a 31 with writing last spring and a 34 without writing later. I am wondering if these colleges will consider my 34 composite or if they solely look at scores that include writing.</p>

<p>My son’s writing score was fine his first and only try. His highest ACT composite was later, without writing. He sent both scores. Many schools will take the highest from different sittings.</p>
