I was notified by cornell admissions today that for ACT test takers, we do not have to submit all test scores. We can chose what score we want to send. I already sent my September scores yesterday under the impression that all scores needed to be sent, however I quickly called ACT and got the score report sent to them to be cancelled so as of now they have no scores. Cornell said I can send them my October ACT scores once they are released which is perfect for me. However, if I don’t want to report my september ACT scores to cornell now that i don’t have to, what do I put on the common app? Should I just leave the test score section blank? Also, should I just put in the additional info section that the reason i have no scores on my application is because I’m waiting for october? thanks
On the self-reporting section you can mention future test dates, so just put October on it.
Oh wow derp i didn’t even notice LOL Thanks!!! @cappex
You are really freaking about something that doesn’t really matter. You do not need to report the scores on the Common App; it’s optional. Cornell needs to see the official report from the testing agency anyway. Do not worry about this at all.
