ACT "Difficulty Rating"

Just to get an idea of what the curves might be like for each section. I saw this in another thread and thought it was really cool!
If you think that the given section was:
- easy, add a [l] to the tallies
- medium, add [ll] to the taillies
- hard, add [lll] to the tallies
Add the other tallies on the most recent post to your post so they can accumulate as people input their thoughts. This, hopefully, will give us a visual as the what the curves will be like!
Note: Lower-case L :)
I'll start it!

English: ll
Math: lll
Reading: lll
Science: l

English: II (more vocabulary than usual, had a lot of “no changes”)
Math: III (those last 10… and the rhombus…)
Reading: I
Science: I

English-ll
Math-l
Science-IIII
Reading-Death Megatron.

English - III To much use of “though”. No one knows the fecking rule for “though”. i dont see how i could have broken a 30.

Math - III… eughhh

Reading - III

Science - I.5 surprisingly, I finished. it must have been easy.

for comparison sakes I made a 30 on the previous ACT.

First time test taker, so I will rate it relative to the SAT and each other I suppose.

English: II
Math: II
Reading: III
Science: I

English - lll
Math - llllll
Reading - ll
Science - ll
Speechless

73 A :-

English: I
Math: III
Reading: III
Science: I

I had to guess on about 5 on Math and 5 on Reading.

English II
Math I
Science II
Reading Literally impossible

English II
Math III
Reading III
Science II

That was the hardest version of the ACT I’ve ever taken (based on taking it April and practice tests). Wow.

Can someone tell me how “scaling” works? Do they just give the point to everyone if the majority of people got a question wrong?

Or do they scale based on how well everyone did overall on one particular subject?

English: II (some really hard questions)
Math: III
Reading: I
Science: I

English I
Math II
Reading III
Science I

All this is proportional to the difficulty experienced on practice tests (ie Princetons, Mc Graw Hill)

I was registered to take the October ACT, but decided my score might lower (34 in September). Good thing I didn’t risk it.

English- II
Math- III
Reading- II
Science- I

I prepared with Kaplan’s guide, PR Review, PR 1296 Questions, and both Math and Reading blew the wind out of me.

English I
Math II(pressed for time but questions weren’t too bad…)
Reading III
Science I

I think this is what OP intended:
Add on your rankings here.

English: lllllllllllllllllllllllll
Math: lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Reading: llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Science:lllllllllllllllllll

English: ll
Math: lll
Reading: ll
Science:ll

I thought it was easier than September’s ACT

In comparison to October’s ACT.

English: II
Math: III
Reading:III
Science:II

The reading sort of boggled my mind…I have a 730 on the SAT and consider myself quite proficient at it but I think I did badly on this test. Guessed a lot.

English: l (the only difficult parts for me personally were the vocab questions, pretty sure I got both wrong, finished in time)
Math: lll (guessed on ~5 due to time)
Reading: lll (guessed on ~5 due to time)
Science: ll (not bad at all but still not a walk in the park, finished in time)
