WHAT THE HELL? This was the first time I take an ACT test. I did the PR English section (which i think is a copy of the Writing Section on the SAT) AND I SCREWED UP BAD.

I used to get 580-630 on SAT Writing AND I GOT A MEASLY 21 ON ENGLISH! Why? Is the English PR much harder than the real test? Or am I just dreaming? I made it till question 56. I got 49 right and 7 wrong.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FINISH 75 QUESTIONS IN 45 MINUTES?

A 21 is about a 490. The english princeton review is slightly harder (about 1-3 points off), however, the best thing to do is just keep doing practice tests and reviewing your mistakes. As for finishing all the questions you NEED to review basic grammar. Knowing what the ACT tests makes it easier to figure out what the question is looking for and it thus becomes easier to identify the problem.

gooberboard I’m a native English speaker I don’t think I need to go through really basic grammar, but anyway since you put much emphasis on that what kind of grammar are you talking about? Where can I find the sources for that?

And I’m looking to improve to at least a 31. Do you think its possible putting in mind that I have 3-4 months?

Haha I got a 30 on English. That’s higher than a 21.

I’m a native speaker too, but a lot of spoken english is grammatically incorrect.

Review some basic grammar concepts and then practice. That’s pretty much the key to any standardized test: practice.

Alright thanks for the link. But you didn’t answer my question regarding whether it’s possible or not gooberboard. Do you think it is possible to raise my score 10 points in 3-4 months? Honestly.
