Will elite schools care if I got a 6 on my ACT essay if I got a 35 composite on the same ACT test and perfect SAT subject test scores?
A 6 out of 36 seems a little bit of a stretch. I know that colleges do not really care about the writing section, but I think if an “elite college” sees a 6 for writing, it can only hurt you.

What are your subject tests? Do you have any APs in your hand (scored) that would show you can write? I wouldn’t entertain a resit if you were my kid. The ACT essay has become a farce of late.
