Act-feb 9-test Questions

why would it strengthen anyone's position? the question was vaguely worded. it literally said "if they found a mass of material between mercury and wherever." Okay, what kind of mass? It could be anything.

No, I could be mistaken but there was more to it than that.

It definitely would strengthen neither.

i put it would strengthen niether

How do you do the matrix problem? It totally threw me off...

got all the ones you had IB and strengthen neither. i disagree with the matrix one..it was either B or D..D was the same but reversed..

it is 3/16 because 1/4 (being recessive) times 3/4 (being dominant). it helps to make a punett square, assuming you've taken Biology..

I just entered them into my calculator and multiplied them together (tedious, but I had a few minutes at the end) and the answer I posted earlier was the only one that came out to the total.

i put it in my calculator too..and i got a 5x5 matrices =/ i guess i did it wrong..

you do [A]***..right?

well, the answer (numeric value that is) had to be one number since it was asking for the total points (or something like that) so if you look at the answer choices, the only one that gave you one number was the 1X5 and 5X1matrices because the answer is in the format of 1X1. If you remembered this shortcut in math class lol

Thank you for the confidence boost spazattack :) It always reassuring to hear someone got the same answers!

what was the math problem that said 2^3 *5^2= a 3 digit number or something, what does 2^b * 5^b=?

sorry, I don't remember which letter it was but I thinkt the answer is:
row multiplied by the column.

mhh- b+1 i believe..

^^^definitly b+1

o ok do you remember what choice that was?

what was the answer to number 2? it had soething to do with this girl wanting to increase her running speed by 2 miles each day until she hit 26 and she started off at 4? i'm stupid, btw.

yes, it was b+1. also, did anyone else get 2 for the distance saved by taking the shortcut, and 1 mile east of the intersection for where they meet, on the problem with the two people riding their bikes toward each other?

yes 2 miles saved and 1 mile east

^^^yeah i got two also and one mile east

Yeah, I got two and 1 E.

XIEX, I think I choosed A but I'm not sure. Man, I don't think I want to see my scores anymore...
