Act fml

So I just sent my ACT scores online, and it says they send them every two weeks.

I'm applying early action to Michigan and Illinois...will they get there by November 1? If they don't I'll be super ****ed. Should I send rushed scores too?

You could make a note on your application that you ordered the test scores on date X. I have called ACT for other issues more than once and they are very helpful. You could certainly call them and ask their opinion about rushing your scores or just letting them go out the regular way.

OMG SKYY! MEEEE TOO! Im applying to Mich and UIUC and had a freak out moment about this too, i JUST sent my reports.

Im calling tomorrow.!!!

Well, apparently Michigan and Illinois both use electronic score reporting, so if it’s automated (and if it’s electronic it would be silly to have it not be automated) the schools could already have access to our scores.

But considering it takes the ACT $9 and 2 weeks to mail a piece of paper to a school, I wouldn’t be completely sure…

Wait so, if its electronic, then they should already have it? Because all of my schools are electronic…I didn’t have the option to send scores via priority mail

“…ACT delivers these to colleges and agencies you’ve selected depending on their preferred schedule—at least every two weeks.”

—It does not necessarily mean the scores will take two-weeks. It depends, as stated from the site, on the institution and their policies. The average preferred schedule happens to fall --at least every two weeks.
