ACT for uPenn

Do you guys think a 31 ACT is too low to even consider Penn? Assuming taking the hardest curriculum, 4.0 Gpa, rank 1.

A 31 ACT composite is at the 25% percentile for Penn. While it is low, it definitely does not automatically disqualify you from consideration. If you truly like Penn, apply and write excellent essays. I’m assuming that you are applying for CAS.

Yep for CAS. I showed my essay to like 5 people and they all said it was good. My superscore is a 32 but I didn’t send in my other score

All test scores are required.
My score was a 27, and I was accepted.

uPenn is known to be one of the few top schools that only “consider” test scores.

I had my other score deleted cause on section was so terrible. Well that sounds encouraging, thanks guys.

If you look at the middle 50, ACT is 30-34, so your score is fine. There is much more to the process than some scores.
