ACT free score reporting

I am planning to take the ACT in February and I know that you can designate 4 colleges to receive your score for free. But I also read in Kaplan that it is better to wait until you have received your score, then send it to colleges.
Is there a disadvantage for using the free score report?
If a college superscore the ACT or require every ACT score, should I use the free score report or wait?

Actually when talking to college reps I found many colleges like to see that you’ve taken it multiple times. it shows that you try to improve yourself. The only thing I heard is that after four or five scores sent to the same school (one that doesn’t superscore) some admission offices will start to frown on you- though not officially. You usually won’t improve after the third or fourth time according to most stats and my own experience. Also if the school does superscore or require all test scores it’s to your advantage to send them now otherwise you’ll have to pay for it. Though VERY few colleges superscore ACT scores to my knowledge.
