ACT Help

I took the ACTs in October for the first time. I didn't study and got a 26. I want to get into the 30s. With the Feburary ACTs coming in about a month I'm preparing myself for a total social life shut down in order to really focuse on studying. I definitely feel like time management/nerves/lack of studying really attributed to my terrible score, but I'm hoping to change that next time. Can I have some tips that may help me improve? General or more specific to each subject.

English - 28
Math - 25
Reading - 25
Science - 26
Combined English/Writing - 26

Shutting yourself off from life seems a little extreme. Maybe you can form an ACT study group so you can be social and get some studying out of the way.

To ask for any advice is a little broad. So to help you focus on your specific needs, take a practice test under simulated test conditions. Find out when and where you struggle. Then at that point figure out your plan of attack. (i.e. what you need to study, etc.)

If you are still lost, you could find a coach or consult with somebody to put you on the right track.
