I'm retaking the ACTs during Feb. for the 4th time for Harvard and Yale.

I'm planning to take practice tests. I'll go over them because I notice that I don't really miss that many questions. It's just a matter of timing for the test.

I got a 27 in December. Also, scores tend to waver for me also. For example, my reading score was a 19 in September, but a 27 in December.

Also, try to keep yourself from getting bored during the reading section of the ACT. This happens to me sometimes.

but what happened to me was that...when i read it too fast.....i don't know anything about it...and it seems that the questions are based on the passage...idk its hard to explain...but i practice reading it slowly and fast...both didn't work.... i dunno what to do...

^^^i don't know how quickly you read...but i just read the passages at my normal rate and then answer the questions. every once in a while i will have to refer back to the reading to answer the questions, but for the most part i just go off memory. maybe you could just try to read at your normal pace and then answer the questions- it might work for you.
