act improvement?

i was curious how common is it to go from a 34 on first official test score to a 35 the next time? has anyone here made that jump their second time around?

dec 09:
Eng - 34
Math - 36
Reading - 33
Science 31-
Composite 34

im taking april one next

i went from a 32 as a sophmore to a 35 as a junior

I went from a 31 to a 35 from Sept. to Feb.

I agree that 35 will look better for college, but to get it you will need to be very lucky. I mean one mistake can make or break your score. I would say it is possible though. Practice with science as it seems to be your weakness.

It is very possible. I have been unfortunate enough to recieve a 34.25 back to back, but trust me, the move from 34 to a 35 is very easy if you have already established yourself in the 34 range. Now if that 34 was luck, then idk it would be harder.

bump;;;;;;;;;;;

One practice test isn’t the best choice to judge your score off of. Take another before getting so excited.

oh no i’m sorry about my wording. i meant that i took the december act and got a 34. i had taken practice ones before that and will continue to before the april one.

i was looking more for people who made the jump from actual tests, not practice ones.

I have made the jump from a 34 to a 35! Though honestly in the grand scheme of things the two scores barely make a difference.
