ACT in DECEMBER! FIRST TIMER! NEED SUGGESTIONS! HELLLP!!! PLS AND TY!!

Im pretty nervous...its my first real test!!! Ahhhhh Any suggestions???

I'm taking it in December too, though it'll be my second time taking the ACT. Got a 33 first time, hoping for 35/36 this time, want a 36..my only advice would be to calm your nerves down before and during the test..and don't ruin ur sleeping habits/diet. Also, concentrate, and for each hard question, use process of elimination and decide which answer fits best, and cannot be wrong (yes i know, overused tip, but i think it's very very important). Also, you should review and take some practice tests (though I did not) as it will help you get familiar with the types of questions on the test, and the format. Practicing essays is also crucial. Math is easy, reading is kinda easy, english is easy, science is hard just because you do not have time. Don't read the passages, just skip to questions. Trust me, you won't have time to read everything. I have the Real ACT book and am currently doing Practice test #1.

i'm gonna take the act for the first time this December too - looking for a 34-35

im not looking for much...like [27-30]..but higher would be nice...

calm down... haha

it's just a test, it's not like its the most important test of your life.... (well maybe it is... in some cases)

shazheng is not helping at all! LOL :D

instead of the book, im taking the actonlin********** course.

its really crappy, but it grades your essay for you (sent to someone) and it gives two free practice test that they time, and you can buy more.

dont listen to their advice, listen to the PRINCETON REVIEW, the ACT doesnt know what its talking about!

Don't study. Straight up. Don't put that pressure on yourself. I studied hardcore for my time, and got a 28. Then I didn't study at all and got a 31 and then a 32.

Studying is a waste of time, you're never gonna know what's on it anyway.
