Just a vent here ... I absolutely HATE how greedy the ACT is by withholding the scores until after the cut off for the next test. I know they do it on purpose and it is WRONG! Sitting here deciding on whether or not to register my son or not today. Last test I had to pay the late fee and it was painful!

it’s okay momma they just want to see your child burn

Everyone knows that. But nothing can be done about it.

I know I was just venting

@tlcmommi4 I agree with you 100%. There is no way around it I can see. You can try to contact customer service after the scores come out and try to cancel. Sometimes they will, depending on the representative handling the request.

He felt good about the Oct one so I decided to wait. If he needs to take it again I will just pay the late fee. It is still really crappy they do it this way though lol

^^^
That makes sense.

Well he did better but still 1 point shy of his goal … He wants a 30 - he got a 29. Up from a 27 the last 2 times. Decisions Decisions … He has until midnight to decide.

you know what would do great business for ACT? having the student pay an extra fee and have the scores delivered a week earlier… I wouldn’t pay for it but I know others would

I think they’ve definitely considered that but I think they believe it would be too advantageous to the richer students.
