So I took the April(2016) ACT and was really happy to see that I got a 31 after working hard for 2 months to jump to a 29/30. My scores before that were 26(Oct. 2015), 24(Feb. 2016). I worked really hard over my spring break to bump my score up. No to my question. I have been hearing that ACT will flag any test with a dramatic score increase of about 6. What I am worried about is that ACT will flag me based off of my 24 to 31(7pts) and not the 26-31(5pts). Do you guys think I will get flagged? I worked so hard for this and I have been stressed out thinking about it. Will I be fine? It has been 2 months and I have now heared anything so am I alright? I can guarantee that I did not cheat. I spent way too much time studying to try to cheat. Plus why would I cheat when I don’t even know the people sitting next to me. Any thoughts?
Sorry I just checked it was a 30 not a 31. I also took the June test and feel that I got close to a 30.
If you have done nothing wrong don’t worry. Sleep well!
As I understand it, if they gave you your scores, that means you are in the clear.
I had a similar concern when my son jumped 6 points (from a 27 to a 33) but there was no issue.
