Just wanted to relay that both my daughters received their score in the mail, so that pretty well shoots the theory that we had to wait until the 27th! They both received excellent scores (34 & 31) and this mom couldn’t be more proud of them.

If someone could give me a quick lesson on how to determine the curve, I would gladly let you know. Is each subscore on each section 18 questions?

^your daughters twins? babes?

I would really like to know the curve O.O

I’m almost afraid to see the curves…the two harder tests were the two that don’t normally have very kind curves…

I’m pretty sure I’ll need to take this again, ugh.

They must have curved the math section pretty will because I thought I did pretty bad (27-28 range) and I ended up with a 32.

^
I did horribly on the last part of the math, so that would be great for me.
Anxious to find out now.

packalldwy how was the curve on reading?

I felt that the reading was the same as last time and I ended up with a 29 both times. Science I knew I did bad but I didn’t think I didn’t do that bad (ended up with a 24). I thought I did well on reading (32-33) but I got a 35. Ended up with a 30 composite.

I just got my scores and I’m unbelievably happy!!!

E: 35
M: 35
R: 31
S: 31
C: 33

I think the science and reading curved were kind of harsh, because I don’t think I got more than 4 wrong. I think math was lenient because I think I got at least 2 wrong.

I am unbelievably happy because this is the first time I took it! And I can definitely raise my science and reading scores next time!

Good luck to those who haven’t received their scores yet!

I’m super jealous of everyone whose received their scores! I saw this post and thought they posted them early on the website. Needless to say, I’m now a shaking jittery mess for no reason.

@packalldwy if you are right about those curves, I would be incredibly happy. I thought the reading section was easier this time around and the science was hard, but I have taken harder (I’ve taken the ACT twice before plus around 30-40 practice tests). But it seems everyone who has gotten their scores back has done well so far let’s just hope we can keep it up!

guys… was reading actually hard for you? I legitimately thought it was the easiest section… and reading was, on average for me on my last 3 acts, my worst score… I think it may be my highest this time around… (27, 27, 29… feeling a 32+ this time).

nah, I didn’t think reading was too difficult. It was my middle score the last two times around (25 and 27) but i’m feeling a 29+ this time I hope

yeah reading was eaaassyy. especially the penguin one, considering it was social science, which is usually the hardest one.

Wait what? How are people receiving their scores? I thought they came out on the 27th…

-_-

people get them in the mail. weird, right?

People who take the ACT w/o writing get them in the mail earlier than those who took it with writing. No scores are available online until the 27th, though.

Also congrats to Bibliomaniac for your score! Did you by chance go on CC after you took the test to compare your answers with others’?

That doesn’t make sense, thought, because the writing is graded completely separately. Or do they send writing and multiple choice together?
