9 more hours, wow! I’m getting more and more nervous.</p>
<p>Some colleges might not even consider your ACT scores if you have a good GPA at a CC. I have a 4.0 so I should be fine as long as I get a decent score. Where are you planning to go, lovelyhope?
btw I actually have twenty-something hours, but after next semester I’ll have well over 30.</p>
<p>I have about a 3.7 to 3.8 GPA from my CC…hopefully that will make up for my ACT scores. Wow! A 4.0 GPA is great! Way to go:) I want and honestly have to go to University of North Carolina Wilmington. It is the only school in NC that offers a good Film Studies program, which is what I want to pursue:)</p>
<p>Do you guys know if SOME people will get their writing scores when ACT opens their database?</p>
<p>@Coolapple1 I’m wondering the same thing; I took the writing test and I’m wondering when those scores will be available…</p>
<p>From what I’ve heard some people get them on the first day, but in general I think it’s rare.</p>
<p>I can’t speak for other people, but both times I took the ACT my writing score came the same date as the composite score. So yes, some people get it the same day.</p>
<p>It is possible. Last time I got my writing scores at the same time the MC scores were released, but a lot of people had to wait a few days. But it is definitely possible.</p>

<p>@coolapple my writing score was online like 5 minutes after I got my score back in april (I stayed up to check my score) but i’ve heard thats not the case for everyone</p>

I got a 28 in April, but I’m hoping for something that makes me feel more safe for some of the majors.

<p>i felt absolutely awful after the test, so im kinda dreading my scores. T_T i took a practice test untimed and got a 34.4 composite, but i think timing really screwed me on the real deal. D: i wish they would give us more time…especially on the reading and science sections. even 5 more minutes would help xD. </p>
<p>anyways, expecting around a 31 composite =/</p>

<p>I completely agree @chococat12893. It was the timing that got me. I think I and many other test takers would have done better if we had more time. The questions were very difficult, but if we were able to figure them out without a set time, the results would probably be very different.</p>
