ACT June 2010 - Science

i put 30 W 40 as well

ditto to the 30 W 40.

It was 30 w 40.

I believe I put that as well, and I got a 36 on the science last time I took it. (not that you should believe me or anything…)

^yes!! that’s what i put. Someone said I 40 and W40. I think the logic is that the more deformation, the stiffer. The lower I correlated with a higher D, which described the value of the deformation. So I 30, the lower one, gave a higher D.

I said I 3.0 W 40…i thought “I” was either 3.0 or 4.0?? or are you just purposely not putting the decimals? just wanted to double check

^what you said.

@Johnw11 (hopefully not John Wall) the answer was O2 because the passage said it gave off dry air.

LOL no I’m not John Wall

what is the 30 40 question?

I put 40 40, but I don’t remember anything about it. I was in a daze throughout most of the science section.

Anyone remember the question with really awkward wording? I think it was the one with “Cell Lines” or something like that.

that question is 30 40…i’m pretty sure…

btw…how do we know it is digestion in the 1st passage…

^isnt it because the colon is part of the large intestine

EDIT:nevermind, the colon is part of the digestive system

@LAXer25

ahhhhh…my biology is soooooo bad…

The colon is the large intestine. It’s primary function is reabsorption of water and electrolytes. This fact, unfortunately, requires basic outside knowledge.

Uhm I’m not sure if you guys have answered this yet, but I remember the answers being: 95 degrees, 110, 115, etc and I said something about the starting point if it’s all 65? Idk that may sound confusing, I just remember that much of it.

If I got that question right then so far I missed 0

^i put 95.

95
10 charrrrr

i hate this section…errrrrr…worst section by far.
