the time was killing me. anybody else feel that way?

Agreed, I think I got -4 to -6 range. The tough one was the rubber ball section on science. For the question referring to which was stationary, was it Only 3 or 1 and 3 (the ball swinging between 3 points and the ball hitting the wall)?

I thought it was O2 because of “oxidation”

I put only 3, but nearly everyone else seems to agree that it’s both 1+3.

i also put 1&3

It was 1 and 3. At points A and B of 1, the v was 0.

Derivative of an equation gives the velocity equation. Setting the velocity equation to 0 gives a max value, AKA the values of A and B.

I had 1 and 3 then changed it to just 3 at the last minute. Damn.

Yeah, I was stoked for no conflicting viewpoint sections though. They didn’t lie, the last two times I took it they had conflicting viewpoint passages.

Better safe than sorry eh?

Forget the whole “air” vs. “oxygen” thing…the purpose of the experiment was to understand the process of oxidation. If you’re still not convinced, or don’t understand what I’m saying…

“At standard temperature and pressure, two atoms of the element bind to form dioxygen, a colorless, odorless, tasteless diatomic gas with the formula O2.”

LOL yes skaggs. Carbon hydrates are usually associated with O2 anyway with combustion, an educated guess would have probably resulted in O2 as well.

the reason why i put 2 and 3 was because 1 was a pendulum and 2 and 3 the ball had to be stationary at one point

I remember putting an answer with a 1 and a 3 haha. I think it was 3:1 or something, that is what I put.

I remain steadfast in my belief that the answer was 4 and 40, not 3 and 40.

Oh, wait! I think I put 3 only. I was going to put 2 and 3 but on the description it said somthing about rv being constant but v would increase (or something, I don’t remember). Then I didn’t choose 1 because it was moving the majority of the time (if I remember correctly). 3 was the only experiment where v was constant, but I was kind of confused of what they were asking me… I probably did get it wrong, I just know that 3 was a constant one lol.

The overall opinion is that the answer was 1 and 3 for that one. This is what I put.

Well it seems I have -1 so far, not including the 40 40 or 30 40 question. Hopefully this will be a 36 (+1 for science :))

has anyone consolidated the list of agreed upon answers yet?

I thought the maximum values for both caused the least deformation. So I just chose the highest values. (40 40)

CAN SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS NOT REPLIED ON THIS THREAD CONFIRM THAT IT WAS 30 40 or 40/40? THIS IS BUGGING ME AND I JUST WANT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT. IT WOULD BE PREFERABlE IF THE PERSON REPLYING CONSISTENTLY SCORES HIGH ON PRACTICE TESTS

also there was question that was like “particulary interested…” and it was an except question. I put “have particularly interested” as the answer
