I've noticed on a lot of sites, when discussing ACT scores, only the composite, English, and math sections are listed. Are these valued over other sections? I ended with a 31 composite which was lower than I would've liked, but received 34 English, 34 math, 32 reading (I don't want to talk about my science subsection..). Will schools see past my lower composite and recognize my higher subsection scores?

Also, does you're intended major need to line up with scores? For example, if I want to study a science, maybe physics, will a low science section on ACT affect my chances?

Thanks!
