ACT Machine Sensitivity and Erasing Bubbles

Hi everyone,

I took my ACT today for the first time and I feel like it went really well but something’s been bugging me. Throughout the test, I changed a few answers on the scantron and obviously had to erase the original answers. However, I found it impossible to completely 100% erase some of the gray marks in the bubble (tried my best for a few minutes) and I was wondering if the ACT scoring machine was sensitive enough to pick up marks in the bubbles? I feel like I’m being a little paranoid since I do this quite often at school and it usually turns out fine but i really dont wanna see my score take a hit just because i couldnt get it 100% erased. Thank you

You’re fine.
