In addition to the formulas that the SAT puts in front of each math section, which formulas would be a good idea to memorize?

Thanks

Thanks

Is there even a reference sheet on the ACT?

No reference sheet, I just did a practice Math test in the Red Book.

They always ask the circle formula with center at (h,k).

(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

They normally test you on:

1) Knowing that the X and Y coordinates are negatives in this equation (if center of a circle is (-2, -3) and the radius is 2, the formula would be (x+2)^ + (y+3)^2 = 4.

2) They’d also require that you need to know that the radius is squared in this formula.

Also, make sure you know the Law of Sines (don’t need to know Law of Cosines) and be ready to answer any probability questions including permutation/combination. Memorize the 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles, too. Know what their side ratios are. Other than that, you shouldn’t need to know much. As long as you have the general gist of geometry / algebra / trigonometry, you’ll be fine.
