Do the questions on the ACT Math section increase in difficulty as the questions progress? IMO, it seems that way. What about the other sections?

i think so, but they may also throw in some easy ones!

The REAL ACT said that it goes from easy to hard according to the test makers opinions.

Well it usually is. The first half are fairly easy and it starts to get to medium difficulty (for me) when it hits to question 40 and hard for the last five questions. But during those "medium" questions, some of those questions are so easy that you can solve it using a calculator. Like finding the exact value of 5.1^1.2.

I read somewhere that some ppl thought the last half was easier because they just covered topics like trig and all that in school while they forgot how to find distance between two points.

The other sections, they don't really have a trend. Although, like in Reading, the first couple of questions of each section usually ask you about the main idea of the passage or phrases, and they tend to be easier for most people.
