ACT Math SAT equivalence

What would be the SAT equivalence to a 21 ACT Math score? I would estimate between a 510-520. Does anybody have a better idea of what it would be?

Sounds about right. Converting an ACT score to an SAT score can only give you a rough estimate anyway.

Is there an ACT subscore conversion chart available?

Both ACT and Collegeboard have charts on their websites, which you can find with a quick Google.

This is the ACT one: [ACT-SAT Concordance](The ACT Test for Students | ACT)

I used percentile charts from both college board and ACT student just now and it shows almost a 540 for a 21 math. That doesn’t seem right.

^If 500 SAT and 18 ACT is average, as they were designed, that would be right, but I think the SAT’s average is actually closer to 500 than the ACT’s is to 18. Still, ten or twenty points isn’t a big deal.

I’m confused what you mean by “average.”
540 just seems a bit high compared to 21 on the ACT, in my opinion. But I could be wrong and probably am. :)

who cares its a 540…
