ACT Math/ Science

Hi all,
I’m currently prepping for the Sept 2016 ACT and was wondering if anyone found some study tools/ materials useful in preparation, specifically on the math and science sections. I’ve already used the infamous red ACT prep book to prepare for previous tests, and this time around I’ve purchased the Princeton Math and Science Workout book (specifically math and science drills), Princeton ACT prep book, and McGraw Hill prep book for practice tests.Other than repeating drills, taking practice tests, and assessing my mistakes, is there anything else I can do to boost my scores on these sections?

Thanks

I would also just recommend that you take official practice tests because the third party ones are usually pretty bad. I would read them for strategies, but not for tests. I have “ACT 36” from Barron’s and I think it’s pretty good.

I like to use Barron’s ACT 36 and Barron’s ACT Math and Science Workbook when studying for the math and science sections. From my experience, questions from Barron’s materials are usually slightly more difficult, which gives you an edge. Best of luck!
