Hi guys! I am a junior who took an ACT over the summer without studying to gauge my current level, and got a 33 (36 CR, 35 Writing, 34 Science, and 27 Math). The math section was difficult for me, as I am only taking Algebra 2/Trig this year. I am signed up for another ACT in December. Any tips for me to boost my math scores? I would like at least a 35 composite. Thanks so much! :D

As long as you maintain other sections’ scores, a 35 composite should be extremely easy. I think math and English are the easiest sections to improve on. You have two months, so practice math section every day. Good thing is that the highest level of questions in math is trig.

I used Barron’s ACT 36 prep book and just went over the math section and raised my math from a 28 to a 33.

Thank you @viphan and @430ktk !!
