So during the March SAT I ended up with a 770 Mathematics score (by missing one frickin question...how does that work!?). I'm pretty content with it, as will most of the top colleges.

But after today's ACT experience, and reading through the rumored correct answers here, I'm thinking I scored no higher than a 28-30 on the math section, perhaps even lower. I'm scared for my life now.

So my question is...how do colleges view that? Will they take the SAT score and ignore the ACT one, or do they take it into consideration as well?

dude don't worry
the majority of ppl here thought that act math was hard, including myself (guessed on 3-4)
expect huge curve... along the lines of -5 = 34

I wouldn't be surprised to see a -4/-5 be a 34. Expect a more generous curve than what is normal, and to the OP. You probably have scored better than you think you have, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised when your scores come in.

I got 680 SAT in June and 32 ACT in June. As for this one, I finished it in time. I'll agree there were a lot of hard questions that took some time to get but I usually found some tricky way to get it or be creative with my calculator or just have something click when I came back to it later. Did everyone here really not get to all the questions? I mean I know I got some wrong so I didn't necessarily get 36 but I never thought it would be this serious. Better for us though, I seriously think that -2=36 and -4=34.

i pray that the math curve will be that reasonable... but in reality i expect it to be normal... and all my knowledge of advanced calculus will not show up in my act math score

Bobby, a lot of people have that same knowledge, it's just the way we use it. Helps people who haven't been able to learn it because the school didn't offer the course early enough.
