ACT multiple sittings

I took the ACT 5 times:

27

31

31

31 (A state required test)

29 (Haha, I thought I could get a 32 or something... :P)

So I ended up giving up on my quest for a higher ACT score after the fifth sitting. But it wasn't until TODAY that I found out a school I was applying to implemented a NO SCORE CHOICE policy for both SATs and ACTs.

I took the SAT twice and got a 2150 on the second one. Both my SAT and ACT scores are somewhat similar. I'm not sure if it'll look bad when they see I took the ACT five times... Should I send in just my SAT scores? The website states that they "encourage applicants to take those examinations no more than twice, but [they] do not penalize applicants for exceeding that recommendation."

I'm still iffy on whether they'll think badly of me. What do you guys think?

Wow haha imagine if you got like a 32 on the 5th one. But seriously, which school(s) are you specifically referring to? Some schools don’t mandate that you send in all scores, while others do. I don’t think it’ll hurt you that much since most of your scores are 31 and they’re all very close together. But I’m not an admissions officer.

If a 2150 is like a 31, then just send the SAT.

You can pick and chose which test scores ACT sends out. I would look at the sub scores of the 31’s and chose accordingly.
