bummmppppppp

I have it. It is pretty useful. They give tips for each section with a few practice questions thrown into the mix. There are only two practice tests but there are one or two practice essays also. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the diagnostic tests did not tell me what I needed to work on. It was basically just a few practice questions and then it told you to read all the tips they give. That could have just been my misunderstanding of the purpose of the diagnostic test however.

Yes, my daughters didn't like "wasting their time" on the diagnostic part, but the others were useful. They are online a lot and it was more comfortable than reading the book on their bed (their brothers choice) I just wish they would study more but they have a lot of projects for school and that comes first. I also think there is a part of them (being Juniors) that wants to see how they do "cold". I, being the one paying for it, have other ideas. : )

My daughter thought it was useless and a complete waste of time. I don't know if would be more helpful if it is your first time taking it. She had already taken it a couple of times and had a 31 and was trying to increase improve her score. She felt like the time she spent on the ACT online course was really a waste of time and gave up on it and went back to the Princeton Review book which she found more useful. The real ACT book also has practice tests which it is definitely useful to do. Do some under timed conditions as the timing on the ACT is what throws some people.

swimcatsmom, wouldn't the ACT online be like the book tests? It's the same company and I thought the only difference was the format. It might not be worth 20.00, but some new to the ACT might like the format better than the book.
Improvements though might need something to fine tune the problem areas....that wouldn't be helpful with the online version.
