im filling out the common app right now and it appears that if i submit an act score i do not need to complete sat 2’s for penn… is this true

to pre-empt]> im sorry when i used my search function i didnt come up with any thread that directly answered my question.

Directly from the admissions website:

"The ACT
The American College Test with Writing, may be used in lieu of the SAT I and two SAT II: Subject Tests."

Although 2 of the 3 schools my daughter applied to said the same thing in their admissions information, because she was applying to the engineering school the information changed (verbal advice from Eng. dept.) to "not required but STRONGLY RECOMMENDED" that she submit Subject test scores along with her ACT score. So, for stongly recommended, substitute REQUIRED. My advice is to investigate further with the particular department or college you are interested in at Penn.

im applying to cas with poli sci as my intended major, would that make a difference? (i probably wouldnt need to submit a math or science subject test)

thanks.

Sorry to jump onto your thread with a personal question, but should I submit my ACT score or SAT and Subject Tests? (My ACT score is slightly better than my SAT score, but my Subject Test scores are very good).

ACT: 34
SAT: 2190 (750 CR / 720 Math / 720 Writing)
Subject Tests: 800 Math 2, 750 Literature

jeez youre fine submit everything
