I'm from CT. I did good on my ACT 33 but didn't do so goon on my SAT 1970. Do i still have to send my SAT scores. I'm applying to the University of Notre Dame. And those it look bad since im from a coastal state to send in the ACT and not the SAT

If they say SAT or ACT then you should be fine just sending the ACT. Since the conversion has your ACT a lot higher than your SAT i would just send your ACT. but are you applying early or something? because if not you can always retake the SAT before apps are due. That was my counselor's advice when i was in a similar situation. He said that it shouldn't make much of a difference (or none at all) if i were to just send the ACT but he also suggested i take the sat a second time just so that when college admissions came out and if i didn't get in to certain schools i wouldn't think to myself "if only i had taken the test again..."

anyway, you should be fine with your ACT

I mean yeah that disparity is obvious but I think that many adcoms will assume something bad if you send only ACT. My friend had 2340 SAT and 36 ACT and he only sent the 36 since the 2340 was his 2nd try (1st try wasn't stellar, but still good). But yeah dude send the ACT only, sometimes you might have to say which score you got on the SAT on the application, but they'll look at the official results from ACT and Collegeboard.
