Does Yale prefer SAT IIs over the ACT or will they view them both equally? I ask because m ACT are relatively better than my SAT IIs, so I was wondering if I should send both sets of scores or just the ACT scores. Thanks.

I would just send the ACT score. Why give them reason to doubt your test taking ability? if you have one excellent score, no need to bog it down with some other, less excellent ones.

i'm submitting only the ACT too.

I am assuming you have not taken the SAT I, becaues if you have taken the SAT I with the subject tests, and the ACT, and you submit both, they will convert your ACT into an SAT score and look at the ACT and the SAT I and the ACT converted score, decide which is higher and accept the higher of the two.

i've never heard anything about schools 'converting ACT into SAT score' could you elaborate on that?
